Batteries are not included. I suggest putting battery requirements (and photos) in the description of each LED mod. This mod requires the LR1130 (AG10) battery, three on both sides of the mod (in each cap), or 6 total batteries.
I just received the batteries. I ordered two of these mods (4 LED caps total). Only one of the caps actually blinked when I spun the mod, the blue one. The other ones I ordered, green (2x) and red LED caps, only glowed and did not blink. The green cap glowed orange. Without the batteries, the mod feels very light weight and does not spin well. With the batteries it did spin better but overall not that great. I do like how bright the mod blinks (the blue LED cap).
Considering that the mod and caps can be purchased and are cheap, I am not upset about 3 of the caps not working properly. I plan to buy more. I also remembered the Epic LED Pen Spinning video on YouTube, the mods are fragile when dropped; I did not drop the mod. I am not surprised some of the caps do not work properly.
